Monument to the irreplaceable president.

The classic Latin American dictator Alfredo Stroessner was elected President of Paraguay 8 times from 1954 to 1989, when half a year after the next re-election he was suddenly overthrown as a result of a military coup.

The monument is redone from the original ruined monument to his beloved, crushed from above by a concrete slab, which is held by rusty clips. The inscription on the monument: "Never again"

After the coup, Stroessner fled to Brazil and lived there for 17 years until his death in 2006 at the age of 93. Since then, in Paraguay no one can be president more than once without any reservations or exceptions.
